The 2012 growing season has already closed out for the year now that the corn and soybean harvest is complete. That means it’s time to start looking ahead to 2013 to decide what our plans are for both corn and soybeans. As growers look ahead, I’ve started receiving a lot of phone calls regarding what growers saw while they were combining their crops during harvest. One of the questions that keeps coming up is what to do with all the waterhemp and lambsquarter that came up late season and throughout the season.
