Central Illinois: Mother Nature threw farmers a curve ball this spring with record-high temperatures in March which allowed farmers to get in the field early. The warmer weather also increased weed pressure from  winter annuals. You name it, we got it. I’m also getting a lot of questions from growers about cutworms. In today’s report, I offer some ideas on how we combat our current weed pressure and how to prepare for the future pests.
